That’s my shopping list… I just filled out the rebate form and stuck it in an envelope, but no stamps. It’s for a new wireless router for my new place :), I’m going to have to test it out though. I’m not sure if I’ll actually place in some physical wires through out the house by running some cat5e or let the wireless do it’s job. If I do place in wires, I’m going to have to do it like really soon because my dad is going to rip out the carpet for me… Still waiting on closing though, hope it is soon so I can save some gas. I feel like my house is kind of tiny more and more I think about it. I don’t know if it’s because it’s so empty now or what. Though I think it’s because it’s a ranch house that the lack of a second level or a basement makes it feel small… I’m going to give it a year and decide because it’s a good investment. Much better than say cars or something like that…

My mom has been really nice to me lately, as if some effort to get me to stay home. Normally she seems to whine and bitch to me about getting stuff done, but she’s has been relatively quiet and actually doing stuff for me unasked! It’s crazy, she did the laundry without yelling at me, actually cooked me food when I was hungry, did the dishes, and just other stuff!

My textbook bill actually comes out to over $700! I thought I was actually getting a good deal at the book store, but turns out that I actually didn’t get 2 things I need that I had ordered. Then they like super gouged me over a hundred and fifty bucks on this book that was listed at just over a hundred. The damn thing only has like 500 pages and I’m paying like out my ass for it! It better be a damn good book! Also, some book that I have been borrowing from a friend forever (sorry David) that I thought I could use for this semester is well now the old edition. I have to get the new edition now… So there skyrockets my bill! I’m a little pissed because there goes my paycheck!

Actually I placed the books on my credit card and I get a little extra time to pay for them because of that. I put them on there because I get some points back too, now I’m a few points closer to whatever stuff they reward me with for spending my money. If this has been on my debit card, I would have been mad pissed because my bills would be bouncing and all that… Of course I can’t blame them, I agreed to their terms of sales that the order total presented was only an estimation and that my actual total maybe greater or less… Damn fine print!

I guess I should give a review of the LAN on Saturday as well. The turnout was unexpected! I think Mike and I will agree that it far exceeded our expectations. It was one of those LANs that was really like the basement feel to it, where everyone was kind of just gaming for fun without lag. The LAN ended a bit earlier than previously scheduled because of the power issues we ran into. We had a good idea of everything going on this time, but I kind of feel we lacked in preparation in other areas. The circuit breaker room was locked this time and the hojos guy didn’t know anything about getting our power back. At some point, he started flipping all 30 of the breakers! Definitely some goals and stuff to do there once there is a time line. With Mike in Virginia, things are definitely a little quiet about Havok, but we are growing at a fairly rapid pace as well… An oxymoron or something I guess is what I just did…

Other stuff, some drunk dude jump/fell off the roof of the old bank and his head like exploded. Of course I didn’t witness this, but apparently there was all sorts of cops, fire fighters, ambulances, and other stuff for it. There was a clean up crew that had to like use chemicals to clean the stuff off the ground, eww!

Some AIM programmers with too much free time on their hands made AIMFight. I’m not popular enough :(.

I’ve been having weird dreams, I can’t really recall them, but they are strangely like realistic. I think I have like full conversations with people in them about stuff that we would talk about and it’s just well weird…

School starts Tuesday, I don’t even know what my classes are or what time they start. I’m going to have to update the PDA or just learn to read this calendar thing I made… I just realized I bought a new bookbag for no good reason, because when do I not have my laptop with especially when I have that C++ class? I’ve got to code! Or maybe not, I had to buy a smart card so I can use the Unix terminals, so maybe they have changed the system and SSH is no longer allowed? Grr…

Anyhow I’m gone on that the destination sometimes just doesn’t matter, it’s the journey that counts. Really dumb, but whatever…

I am so drained and energyless. I know its not a word, but so what? LAN went well, lots to be improved upon, but not bad for a first LAN… More details and a few pictures later…

Next is just hilarious, but makes me angry. Woke up today and my brother is sitting in front of my computer wearing a very familiar white tank. Something just don’t look right and as I approach my computer, he is wearing one of MY white tanks. I’m like WTF of course. It really wouldn’t have been such a big thing, except the tank has a fucking BUILT IN BRA inside of it! How could one not notice? Especially a guy? Ugh! I wanted to wear that shirt tomorrow too! Understandably one could put one on and be like whoa this ain’t mine, but to keep wearing it? The white tank in question, was very girly, how the fuck he didn’t notice that or the fact that it had a strechy ban inside of it, I don’t know….

Another job decision to make… Should I take a job that I would probably be more happy with, but double my commute? It wouldn’t really be that bad once I start school again, because I would already have to drive about that far for school… I’ve only been in my current position for about 2 months, I’m starting to like mold into the job per say. The current job is certainly not something I want to do long term (like one year+, it’s ok now and pays the bills), so here is the opportunity for me to do something else, a lot sooner than I thought. On the other hand, I should see how much better I can do in my current role and see where it leads from there? I’ll have to think this one over…

Havok filled day with Mike, got a shit load done. LAN is in less than 12 hours! We were able to get a ton of sponsors and the sponsors really hooked us up!

It is almost 2 am as I write this and I have class at 8 am! Ahh!! So I woke up late today, and went to do stuff for Havok. Our webserver or whatever P2 box is being mean. Mike couldn’t get the 10/100 NIC to work, wouldn’t even light up! I got it to light up, but I think the OS is toasted, it has been locking upon boot up and memory dumps :(. Our PowerEdges are running now and we even got CS:Source up on a server… Of course there are a number of other games on the servers too, but they just don’t interest me.

The rest of the day has been spent messing with the blog. I just spent about 2 hours messing around with the database. I still suck with SQL commands, so probably what I spent 2 hours doing could have been done in 20 minutes with the appropriate SQL commands. Basically I made one change to a table and not realizing that it affected this other table. Not like I was a complete idiot though, I knew would affect one certain table, but wasn’t even aware the other one existed… So I had to manually go thru all the entries and reupdate! I’m not even sure if the first thing I had gone thru the database to make changes will have the results I want.

I’m kinda concerned that one of my referrals to the site was camgirlslive.com. I just don’t like the idea of those folks getting to my site from that site…

I think I have an exam in both Accounting and Stats this week, I’m really unsure! The teachers change the exam dates and all that, so I’m lost! Mike says he has got a bunch of things to study for, so I should probably be studying too. Would suck to fail a DelTech class.

Oh yea, I totally forgot that today was Father’s Day! Stupid me…

Still no response from Dave to my long ass email so he is found guilty of lying at this point and who knows what else…

Edit: My 2 hours of editing my database DID NOT result in the changes I wanted!

Don’t know what to write in here tonight, could pretty much skip it and not give a fuck. My eyes are always itchy, but my nose is less leaky! Trade one symptom for another I suppose… However, nothing really helps with the itchy eyes. I have stop taking pill medication for about a week now because I can’t stand my dependence on them. So quit cold turkey…

Tomorrow is Havok stuff, less than 2 weeks to the big LAN. I am thinking about seeing if I could add some additional hours at work, I have miscalculated that I only really work 28 hours per week and not 30…. I don’t know if I want to do like 4 hours on a Thursday or maybe an 8 hour shift on Friday. If I work on Friday, I am left with really no weekend. If I work on Thursday, it’s only for 4 hours. I don’t know… I want to be able to chill at least once a week, have that something to look forward to, to pull me through the week and all.

In geek nerd stuff, I have installed phpboard and phpMyAdmin (finally! And it works ;)). I suppose I’ll play with them or something. I have a windows hosting account that I want to use to play with ASP, but there doesn’t seem to be that much to do with it. I also don’t have a database with that account, but I guess I can share MySQL db from this hosting account with it….

Grrr! Verizon’s site is DOWN! I want to pay my bill! So blah blah blah….
