Time of my life…
October 20th, 2005Wasting time in one of the school’s labs because I was to lazy to bring my heavy ass laptop with me today. I should sell that and get a new lighter laptop… I’ll get to that eventually, probably when my laptop has no value
. I got an accounting exam in less than 3 hours and should be spending this time studying, but of course I’m going to waste half of my time doing other things like typing this rant up.
I finally did get my C++ lab done the other night, I was so happy that I finally figured out the mathematical error I had made and got stuck on for like half the week that I thought I was done. However, that was really only half of part 0 and there was a part 1 to complete, luckily that wasn’t amazingly difficult and I completed it in a half assed manner getting just the results he requested and not the best coding possible. Oh well I say, I got the end results right? I still haven’t gotten my first C++ exam back yet, I know how I did on the multiple choice part, it was a B. However, I’m more concerned about my coding part of it because I had to write it out and I’m sure that I forgot braces/curly brackets and other correct syntax to get code to compile and run correctly. Then there is the matter of the project I need to complete here.
I stink at economics and I think I’m going to go to her office hours in a few minutes. Not that it will make a difference. I didn’t leave for the class until 11:15 today and the class starts at 11:00. Opps.. My mom was getting rather pissed about that, thankfully I am paying tuition and not her, or else who knows what she might have done to me.
Stats is like always just so dull and boring, worst yet that it runs 7-9 on my day off from work. Never doing that again if I can avoid it. Bio test is tomorrow so I’m gonna cram tonight, I seriously need to fucking pull that grade up with like getting a perfect on this exam. It’s not even like it’s that hard, but I just suck at the test. Oh woe is me I guess.
House is coming along, not moved in because it over smells of paint and the carpet hasn’t been installed. Actually the carpet hasn’t even been bought, but the old ones were tore out and let me tell you a roll of carpet may not look like it weights a lot, but it does! A roll of carpet for one of the rooms had to be like a hundred pounds! My first electric bill came and the thing was over a hundred bucks! WTF? It does say estimated though, so I guess it will balance out at some point. I sure hope I didn’t use a hundred bucks worth of electricity and not even live there with all my stuff plugged in.
Birthday came and went this Tuesday, Shawn was lame and had a party Monday night. I work till midnight and have class the next day meanie! Anyhow, I was going to get a new TV or two, but the one I wanted was sold out. My second choice item was to get an ipod nano, but then I thought about it, the nano is so tiny yet it cost nearly as much as the TV I wanted where the remote is bigger than the nano! Plus I still got my shuffle that I hardly used lately. So I’m going to look for another TV to get or a new digi cam that is tiny. This A300 has been nice, but it’s time to upgrade to something more pocket size and has optical zoom and all those other features that I probably will never use, but want to have.
There is less than 2 months before finals are here and I’ll be done for this fall semester, last year I was actually on Dean’s List without really trying and this year I am struggling to simply pass with a C in my classes. But sacrifices are sometime just unavoidable. No one ever says I wish I studied more in college, well maybe a grad or grad wanna be. I don’t exactly plan on being either one of those immediately after finishing the bachelors so I think I’m good there. ~Off to misadventures
